معاناة حقيقية لـ«زعيم الجنوب»، نادي أبها الرياضي، نتيجة عدم تمكن الفريق الأول لكرة القدم تحديداً من الاستفادة من ملعبه الرئيسي غير المطابق نظاماً للمواصفات، واستضافة مباريات أندية دوري يلو وكذلك أندية دوري روشن بدءاً من الموسم الرياضي القادم بعد صعود الفريق، إذ بدأ بناء منشأة النادي في عام 2011، وتعثر مشروعها عدة سنوات حتى افتتحه وزير الرياضة الأمير عبدالعزيز بن تركي الفيصل، بحضور أمير منطقة عسير الأمير تركي بن طلال في عام 2022. «عكاظ» التقت عدداً من الأبهاويين الذين أكدوا استياءهم الشديد نتيجة استمرار بقاء ملعب كرة القدم على وضعه الحالي دون إيجاد حل جذري لتغييره بشكل نظامي.
أبو عراد: «الملعب غير مطابق للمواصفات»
قال لاعب نادي أبها سابقاً محمد أبو عراد إن عدم مشاهدة أبها يلعب في ملعبه أمر محزن للجمهور الأبهاوي نتيجة عدم مطابقة الملعب للمواصفات والمقاييس، ولا نعلم أين مكمن الخلل، ولماذا تم استلام المنشأة حينها وهي غير مطابقة للمواصفات، ومن المسؤول عن ذلك. وأضاف: «في حقيقة الأمر إنه شيء مؤسف، ومن أبسط حقوق الجمهور الأبهاوي مشاهدة فريقه يلعب في ملعبه، فيما ملعب المحالة يعتبر بعيداً نوعاً ما، والحضور الجماهيري قليل وسيستمر قليلاً، ولو كانت المباريات تقام على ملعب النادي لشاهدنا حضوراً جماهيرياً يملأ مدرجات الملعب، والأمل كبير في إدارة النادي لإيجاد حل جذري عاجل لهذه المعضلة قبل دوري روشن والتواصل مع الجهات ذات العلاقة».
القحطاني: «ملعب أبها كارثة على النادي»
قال لاعب نادي أبها سابقاً ناصر القحطاني: «الحقيقة أن ملعب نادي أبها يعتبر كارثة على النادي، وللأسف لم يستفد منه فريق كرة القدم الأول نهائياً، بل يعتبر نقطة سوداء في جبين النادي، وللأمانة أن وزارة الرياضة لم تقصر أبداً في وضع ميزانية لبناء هذه المنشأة، ولكن من قام بالعمل وخطط وصمم، لم يقم بعمل جيد، بل عمل ملعباً كارثياً كان النادي سيستفيد منه في مباريات كثيرة بسبب موقعه الجميل، وأُحمل المسؤولية من وقّع على استلام هذا الملعب وهو بهذا الشكل المخجل». وأضاف: «أتمنى تغييره للاستفادة منه في دوري روشن، خصوصاً مع الفرق غير الجماهيرية ليستفيد الفريق من ميزة اللعب داخل بيته كما هو حال العديد من الأندية، ورغم حُبي الكبير لملعب المحالة، وأنه يعتبر مصدر سعادة للأبهاويين، إلا أن بُعد المسافة يقلل من حضور الجماهير، ومن حق لجنة المسابقات رفض إقامة المباريات على ملعب النادي الحالي لأنه للأسف غير صالح للعب سواء في دوري يلو أو دوري روشن، وعلى القائمين على النادي إصلاح ما يمكن إصلاحه كي يستفيد الفريق من الملعب الخاص بشكل كبير، وتحويل الأرضية إلى عشب طبيعي بدلاً من الإنجيلة وتغيير مقاس منطقة الـ18 التي ظهرت بشكل مخجل».
جابر: «من المسؤول عن هذه الإشكالية الكبيرة؟»
أشار نائب المشرف العام السابق على كرة القدم في النادي الدكتور يحيى جابر إلى أن الإشكالية تكمن في مقاسات الملعب الرئيسي للنادي، إذ إنها صغيرة، بينما المنشأة فئة «أ»، وكذلك عدم وجود مواقف متسعة للسيارات، ورغم الوعود التي قرأناها في السابق عن إأحمد الحديثي
مكانية إصلاح الملعب ومساحاته وزراعته وفق المقاسات النظامية التي تمكن الفريق الأول من اللعب عليه، إلاّ أننا لم نرَ شيئاً منذ سنوات، كما نأمل أن تكون الوعود في هذه المرة حقيقية. وقال: «أتساءل كرياضي وأبهاوي، من المسؤول عن هذه الإشكالية الكبيرة، ولماذا تمت من الأصل؟»
القبيسي: «أبها لم يستفد من ملعبه!»
قال الإعلامي الرياضي حسن القبيسي: «يعتبر نادي أبها من الأندية التي لم تستفد من ملعبها في استضافة مباريات الفريق بسبب عدم مطابقة الملعب للمعايير النظامية».
وأضاف: «رغم أنه تم استلام المنشأة سابقاً إلاّ أنها لم تكن متكاملة من حيث جودة الملاعب ومواصفاتها، وهذا أدى إلى إقامة مباريات الفريق على ملعب مدينة الأمير سلطان بن عبدالعزيز بالمحالة مما ساهم في الحضور الجماهيري القليل». وتابع: «من المسؤول عن عدم نظامية الملعب عند استلام المنشأة؟». وزاد: «ما زالت طموحات وآمال جماهير نادي أبها أن يتم تعديل مواصفات الملعب في أقرب وقت لكي تتم استضافة المباريات غير الجماهيرية في دوري روشن، أسوة بالعديد من أندية دوري روشن».
تواصلت «عكاظ» مع الرئيس السابق لمجلس إدارة النادي الدكتور أحمد الحديثي، الذي أكد أنه خارج النطاق الرياضي منذ العام الماضي، فيما تم التواصل مع فرع وزارة الرياضة في أبها منذ أيام، إلاّ أنه لم يتم الرد حتى ساعة إعداد المادة. فيما قال الرئيس الحالي لمجلس إدارة النادي سعد الأحمري: «حُرمنا من اللعب على ملعبنا بسبب خطأ في التصميم، وكان ذلك دون رقابة أو محاسبة، ولو لعب الفريق على ملعب النادي وهو نظامي لحصدنا جميع النقاط دون تعادل في دوري يلو».

Abu Arad: "The stadium does not meet the specifications"
Former Abha player Mohammed Abu Arad stated that not seeing Abha play in its stadium is disappointing for the Abha audience due to the stadium's non-compliance with specifications and standards. He said, "We do not know where the flaw lies, and why the facility was accepted at that time while it did not meet the specifications, and who is responsible for that." He added, "In fact, it is a regrettable matter, and it is one of the simplest rights of the Abha audience to watch their team play in their stadium, while the Al-Mahala stadium is somewhat far away, and the audience attendance is low and will continue to be so. If the matches were held at the club's stadium, we would have seen an audience filling the stands, and there is great hope in the club's management to find an urgent fundamental solution to this dilemma before the Roshan League and to communicate with the relevant authorities."
Al-Qahtani: "Abha's stadium is a disaster for the club"
Former Abha player Nasser Al-Qahtani said: "The truth is that Abha Club's stadium is a disaster for the club, and unfortunately, the first football team has not benefited from it at all. It is considered a black mark on the club's reputation. To be fair, the Ministry of Sports has never fallen short in allocating a budget for building this facility, but those who worked on it, planned, and designed did not do a good job; they created a disastrous stadium that the club could have benefited from in many matches due to its beautiful location. I hold accountable those who signed off on accepting this stadium in its embarrassing condition." He added, "I hope it will be changed to benefit from it in the Roshan League, especially with non-popular teams so that the team can take advantage of the home advantage like many clubs do. Despite my great love for the Al-Mahala stadium, which is a source of happiness for the Abha residents, the distance reduces audience attendance. It is the right of the competitions committee to refuse to hold matches at the current club stadium because, unfortunately, it is unfit for play in either the Yelo League or the Roshan League. Those in charge of the club must fix what can be fixed so that the team can benefit greatly from its own stadium, converting the ground to natural grass instead of turf and changing the dimensions of the 18-yard box, which appeared embarrassingly."
Jaber: "Who is responsible for this major issue?"
Dr. Yahya Jaber, former deputy supervisor of football at the club, pointed out that the issue lies in the dimensions of the club's main stadium, which are small, while the facility is classified as "A," and there is also a lack of spacious parking for cars. Despite the promises we read earlier about the possibility of fixing the stadium and its dimensions and planting it according to the legal specifications that would allow the first team to play on it, we have not seen anything for years. We hope that the promises this time are genuine. He said, "As an athlete and an Abha resident, I wonder who is responsible for this major issue, and why did it happen in the first place?"
Al-Qubaisi: "Abha has not benefited from its stadium!"
Sports journalist Hassan Al-Qubaisi said: "Abha Club is considered one of the clubs that has not benefited from its stadium in hosting the team's matches due to the stadium's non-compliance with regulatory standards."
He added: "Although the facility was previously accepted, it was not complete in terms of the quality of the pitches and their specifications, which led to the team's matches being held at Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Stadium in Al-Mahala, contributing to low audience attendance." He continued: "Who is responsible for the non-compliance of the stadium when the facility was accepted?" He added: "The ambitions and hopes of Abha Club fans remain that the stadium specifications will be modified as soon as possible so that non-popular matches in the Roshan League can be hosted, similar to many clubs in the Roshan League."
"Okaz" contacted the former president of the club's board of directors, Dr. Ahmed Al-Hadithi, who confirmed that he has been out of the sports scene since last year. Meanwhile, the Abha branch of the Ministry of Sports was contacted days ago, but no response has been received as of the time of preparing this material. The current president of the club's board of directors, Saad Al-Ahmari, said: "We have been deprived of playing in our stadium due to a design error, and that was without oversight or accountability. If the team had played in the club's stadium, which is compliant, we would have collected all the points without any draws in the Yelo League."
