هبط فريق الإسماعيلي المُلقب بـ«برازيل مصر» إلى دوري الدرجة الثانية للمرة الأولى منذ 68 عاماً، بعد خسارته أمام وادي دجلة بهدفين مقابل هدف في المباراة التي أقيمت أمس (الثلاثاء) ضمن منافسات الجولة العاشرة من المرحلة النهائية لتفادي الهبوط.
وكانت رابطة الأندية المصرية قد ألغت قرار الهبوط في الموسم الماضي بسبب الإسماعيلي، إلا أن الأزمات الإدارية والمالية والفنية أدت إلى هبوط حتمي للضلع الثالث لكرة القدم المصرية بعد الأهلي والزمالك، إلى «دوري المظاليم» بعدما تذيل جدول الترتيب بـ19 نقطة.
أحرز محمود دياسطي هدفي وادي دجلة في الدقيقتين 22 و62، بينما أحرز إيريك تراوري هدف الإسماعيلي الوحيد في الدقيقة 72.
ورغم أن هبوط الإسماعيلي كان متوقعاً في الفترة الأخيرة بسبب سوء النتائج والاستمرار في المركز الأخير، إلا أن حالة من الحزن سيطرت على وجوه جماهير «برازيل مصر» الحاضرة في المدرجات.

Mohamed Diasty scored both goals for Wadi Degla in the 22nd and 62nd minutes, while Eric Traore scored Ismaily's only goal in the 72nd minute.
Although Ismaily's relegation had been expected recently due to poor results and remaining in last place, a sense of sadness dominated the faces of the "Brazil of Egypt" fans present in the stands.
